Do you have Kies installed? If so, you need to go into task manager and kill every process related to it... also, you may have to re-download the tarball as usually when that problem happens, it's because of an incomplete file.

You should also make sure you're running 3.40 or 3.70 of ODIN3 :)

Triangle away? There's an application called triangle away I use on my s3 that resets the flash count. And obviously the name implies....

That's not true I flash the phone brand new out of the box and got the yellow triangle if we can't get him to add the Galaxy rush support to the triangle away maybe we can find someone they can modify it for us when the phones had ice cream sandwich on them I use the poot exploit to root them and flash clockworkmod with rom manager and never got the yellow triangle

I also only flashed once out of box....I too have the triangle

The only way to prevent the yellow triangle that I'm aware of is to enter downloading mode with
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
before you use Odin

(this will not remove the triangle... It just prevents it from appearing)

I installed Rom Manager, then when It asked if I wanted to install CWM, I installed the CWM for the Galaxy Prevail 2, then I from the Rom Manager app I clicked reboot into recovery and I was able to get into CWM.

PS: I did all this after I don't know how many tries to flash with ODIN and it saying Success but unable to get manually into recovery. I don't know if I was just lucky with the process that I described above but hey it worked for me now I can get into CWM manually or with the power menu.

I've tried, redownloaded everything and tried again, but can't get this to work. When I install the SuperUser.zip (Superuser-1.0.1.1.zip) in step 7, I get an error, "signature verification failed", and my phone does not get rooted. What am I missing?

If you got signature verification failed then you probably still have the stock recovery.
If the phone boots fully after flashing cwm, before flashing the su.zip, then cwm will get overwritten with the stock recovery.

You need to flash cwm with Odin
pull the battery
boot directly into cwm
Flash the superuser.zip
And select reboot system now

It should prompt you to disable recovery flash. Select yes.

Hi, I was finally able to get ODIN to run, see my phone, and install Clockwork recovery on my Boost Mobile Galaxy Rush phone. The phone boots up with the orange triangle.

When I get to the following steps:

6) Choose install zip from sdcard, then pick internal or external (where you copied it to)
7) Scroll down to the Superuser.zip and select it to install

I do not have the "install zip from sdcard" option. Any ideas?
