Help Copy contacts to sim

Hi
Because I have to send my Samsung Galaxy I7500 back to Samsung (the audio plug is broken and does not detect disconecting the headphone) I try to get my contacts back to my Sim-card. This is so I can use my good old Nokia 6200 again.

Now since there are no options in the standard software, I downloaded this app. Contacts2Sim. It has a function for copying contacts and this SEEMS to work (it gives me a message saying it copied 192 contacts). BUT... When I put my Sim-card over to the other phone nothing has changed. Also when I, switch my Samsung off and on again (after copying to SIM) the contacts are already gone from the Sim again.

Is my SIM locked or something? It is a bit anoying so if someone could help me out it would be great.

I believe you'd be better off exporting contacts from your Google Account into csv file, importing it into Outlook or Nokia PC Studio (or whatever it's called now) and importing those into your 6200.

Contact2Sim didn't work for me either so I gave up trying.

There are two: Nokia PC Suite(xp & vista). Nokia OVI Suite(vista & win 7)

Good suggestions but still not working. The Nokia (which is a 6021 and not a 6200 as I suggested) is not excepting the content of the csv. Probably because of all the extra data. It is such a waste of time. I should have done the handwork instead of wasting hours. But now I started...

how have you tried this?

so you saved your google contacts to CSV and imported into outlook?
you then opened up nokia pc suite and synched the phone with outlook contacts?

this should work, ive done this with plenty of nokias

And watch out how you export the csv. In Google Contacts the are several options to export: one for Outlook, one is probably Google-optimized-to-reimport-into-Google and a vcard thing.

I made it! Thanks to all of you!
First tried direct Google to csv and import csv in Nokia Suite. Doesn't work.
With the exporting to outlook csv from google I thought in Outlook I only could match one name until i found the first/lastname distinction. Pfff I think I could have typed it in 4 hours too... but hey it's 21th century
