It seem's lately i have been posting questions and such in the wrong places so i hope this is the right place.....

I have a phone that runs 4.1.2 jellybean.....Ok i have seen cm10...like pg's rom and they do not look nowhere near the same...the dialer and the call screen look nothing like 4.1.2....what's the deal with this.....thanks

does cm10 have a custom look other then the 4.X.X version

Any version of any ROM can run any dialer or launcher.

I have tried all version's of jellybean...bob'z pg's and liquidsmooth and they all look the same made or built by 3 different people ...but look the same...i thought that atleast one dev would have made it look some what different from what other's have done...unless this is what it is supposed to look like...

The jelly bean "look" is reserved for nexus models.. The only other manufacturer that I've seen try to use that look was Huawei, but even now they're coming with they're own look.

its not reserved really. CM looks just like AOSP, as does AOKP, and PA. Most OEM's use a custom launcher and lockscreen and not much more. Samsung and HTC have their monstrosities (Touchwiz & Sense), and the worse part, invert it all the white.... YUK!!!!!!.

Well not reserved necessarily but it's about the only line up you'll find the look they're looking for unless they go custom...

I think lg is trying to separate their selves as well which is why to my understanding they're discontinuing their involvement with "nexus". I've always preferred the black myself but to be honest I'm starting to not care.. I kinda like what LGis doing now.. They just need to separate their inversion option under settings to allow black instead of white and the ability to customize the notification ui. As it is now if you invert the white to black for let's say the settings menu it inverts things you wouldn't necessarily want inverted through the entire phone like the home screen. Where then you end up with a phone that looks like it took a hit of lsd or ate some mushrooms..

All the OEM skinning can go to hades as far as I am concerned. I hate em all. ASOP 4 LIFE!!!!!!!!
