IF YOU DO NOT READ EVERYTHING IN THIS POST, I WILL NOT HELP YOU. If you do not understand a part of the post, you may question the part you do not understand, but please do not ask for help without reading everything at least twice. If you are too lazy to read, you should have never messed with your phone to begin with.

Ok, this phone does not unbrick the same way as most other LG phones will.

    Downloads

This guide is intended for windows users. There is no way to unbrick this phone unless you are on windows due to the software being used for flashing only made for windows.

    1. Put your F3 in download mode:
While powered off, hold volume up + volume down + power
    2. Connect a trustworthy USB cable
    3. Open up LG Flash Tool
    4. Tick "Select Manual Mode"
    5. The DLL selected is called "blah....blahLGFLASHv15.dll", find where you extracted that to
    6. Select Add, choose the tot file you downloaded.
    7. Press ok.
    8. Read instructions here on how to flash (Just change it to COM Port 41, not 1): LG Flash Tool - Free - no need B2B User/Pass - GSM-Forum
Thank you it worked :) now how do i activate my [p]hone again? cus the virgin mobile app isnt there
Go to settings and go through all the updates

    Profile, prl, firmware software etc
    Thanks you two ^ :)

    Phones don't fix themselves

This works for me to enter download mode:
    1. turn the phone off
    2. pull the battery
    3. plug in usb cable
    4. put battery back in
    5. push and hold just the volume up key
    goes directly into download mode

when I did it it flashed it fine w/o error and rebooted and was sitting on the lockscreen but the flash tool was only at 80% and continued to count up slowly to 100% even though it was already done and when it got to 100% it said error but ive seen no ill effects and restored with the recovery app...just reporting my results

    does that on every phone.

the lg flash tool wont open and i did replace the megalock.dll

    Windows xp, Vista,7 or 8?

Replace it again, just in case. Make sure lgflashtool.exe is in the same location and that Windows asks you if you would like to replace it or not. Say you want to replace it.
