Nexus 5 Pre-Release/Speculation Thread

So what's the max people are willing to pay for this phone given the rumored specs?

In my mind the screen size makes it more one-hand friendly than the Note 3, it has the same CPU as the Note 3, and will run stock Android. I'd probably still buy it even if it was $600 like all other contract phones.

$400 bucks is my cap, and that's pushing it lol. :p

Anyone else see a nexus commercial this morning? I was watching ABC around 7:45 and turned around to catch the very end of a Nexus commercial...For a split second I saw the moving lights for the Nexus background and then a white screen that google.com/nexus. It wasn't that commercial for the Nexus 7 with the kid who gives a speech either, I know what that sounds like after hearing it 10000 times.

450$ after tax for 32 GB.

Though I probably will be getting the 16 GB, in which case, 400$.

Any lower is just icing on the cake.

I want to know is, is it true about the memory/mAH differences
(i.e. 16GB 2300 mAH/32GB 3000mAH)

That's what is going to sell me not the storage size. GB I can work around, more mAH is where it's at!

I wouldn't count on the 3000mAh battery rumor. We've seen no concrete evidence to this point regarding it, just a random rumor that was repeated all over the blogosphere which couldn't be substantiated.

I didn't think so, but one can dream.

Also, what is this CAT4 cert.? Is that technically LTE-A or something else? I was confused about that.

I don't like it's LTE-A. I think LTE-A is cat 6, 7, or 8. But it does mean that it has the ability to pull faster LTE speeds than most current generation phones. I know in the Note 3 forum that some people are reporting being able to pull faster speeds than their previous phones, which could mean that it has this as well.
