Clock/Weather widget question!

I too was wondering if you could reduce the overall size of that widget but still have both the clock and the weather information. Does HTC not have a smaller weather/clock widget? Is that huge one the only option?

And yeah, I've seen the Beautiful Widget one that is much smaller. It's about the right size.

There's tons of weather widget apps out there. All you have to do is find the one you like. The default weather widget with HTC sense is preety large. You can remove it by pressing on the flipclock and dragging it down to the bottom of the screen. There are two weather widget apps that I would recommend one is "Weather widget donate" and "beautiful widgets" both have customizible weather and clocks. There's also an several others on the market that look totally different. The photo below is the weather widget donate app with a simple black clock. I like how the flipclock is transparent and allows the background to be shown instead of having the standard blocky flipclock taking up space. Is far as animated weather I'm not too sure but I think thats an HTC Sense ui feature.

how do i make the weather animations stop like the clouds floating across the screen

If you want the widget but don't want the full screen weather, drag it to "remove" then add it again. When you add it again, it'll go through a couple set-up screens and one of them is "full screen animations" It's checked to be on by default. Just uncheck it and you won't have the animations any longer.

I want to find the same thing too.. I got beautiful widgets and while it does have a widget that does the same thing at half the size, the animations seem limited to when you actually view the 3 multi-day forecast, not right over top of your other shortcuts..

also beautiful widgets' site seems to be down at the time being, so I can't download any of the skins (although the included transparent one looks decent enough)
