Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

No it also happens on my fiancee's Volkswagen.

So when you first pair the phone it asks you to setup a new user so it knows what phone it is and that you want to pair it with the car next time.

So when I get in her car with my phone it doesn't try to connect because I've never set myself up as a "user profile" in the car.

This link mentions "Adding a Phone" - maybe that's it? Pairing Your Phone to use Ford SYNC | SYNC & SYNC with MyFord | Ford.com

I might have to do a Master Reset.

What'd you end up going with?

My camera gear is so dusty - I think it might be time to go out and take some pictures.

Going with the newly announced Fuji X-E2. They finally added phase detection to the interchangable lense X series so the focus time should be MUCH improved.

EDIT:

Ineed a large sensor for your RX100 Bread, definitely helps :)

Indeed, the RX1 and the new A7 and A7r are all beasts for their size. Sony is doing great work in their bodies, but their lens lineup leaves a lot to be desired. The new Zeiss stuff is meh and overpriced. I plan on getting the 55-200 long zoom for the Fuji and then one semi-wide prime. After that I want to get a couple of adapters and old manual focus lenses to have some fun with :)

Why go mirrorless? Any advantage other than size?

Also, whatcha got? :D

No advantages other than size really. The reason I went with the Fuji series is they are APS-C sized instead of micro 4/3rd. Just tired of carrying 50lbs of camera gear with me on trips. What I have now?

Canon 60D with 2 extra batteries and a battery grip
Sigma 10-20
Tamron 28-75 f/2.8
Canon 70-200 f/2.8L
Canon 50 f/1.8
and a Canon Speedlite 580EX II

What I want and have pre-ordered:
Fuji X-E2
Fuji 18mm f/1.4
Fuji 55-200 OIS

Probably will order another prime...maybe the Fuji 35mm?

That is an insane price point - good job Google.

I hope this sells really, really well.
Very good price point. Way to go Google. So guessing the 32GB version as $399. Now only if they learned from mistakes and actually have them in stock.

Shame they couldn't get it on Verizon. Something's up there, and it's got nothing to do with carrier control since they have other phones on their network that aren't software controlled by Verizon like the iPhone and any Windows phone. No, a little more to the situation, and I think it has a lot to do with Motorola's significant presence on Verizon. There are some shenanigans.

LG G2 is $599 for 32GB model. I'd have to ask myself if I'd pay an extra $200 for a bigger screen, a bit better camera, significantly bigger battery and a few other upgraded specs and give up stock AOSP and (almost certain) tap and pay NFC. Or since I already spent that, get $200 back if I had to give up those extra features.

That's a hard choice to make. Both are excellent choices, but at this point I think I did good by going with the G2.

Miss paying with my phone though. Only feature I miss on the G2. :(

PM me what you'd like for the 70-200, that's even if you're looking to part out. L glass may be a bit out of range for my current budget. Going broke fast, partially because of new phones and other shiny things.

No chance of sideloading Wallet even with root?

Anyone have any experience with wireless chargers? Looks like no local stores carry any so I'll have to go with Amazon. Going with either the LG or Nokia one, probably which ever is cheaper. Bummed the Palm one I got a while back to use for my S3 isn't Qi compatible. :(

Wallet now installs on just about every phone. Sideloading won't help now because it checks your device against the list of accepted devices in order to activate tap to pay. Those days seem to be over. :(

Is it all about secure element issues? Doesn't bother me, used it a couple times and was never faster than swiping a debit card.
