Well ppl.... I no longer own an esteem.

Ever since zve I was having wifi and data issues.

For s**** giggles I returned my phone to stock and I went to the corporate Metro store and told them my situation. They told me that this is a common problem since is EV EV update and to correct the situation they are offering their customers I trade in of the esteem for 150 dollars toward a new phone.

Well s*** I had to go for it I am now the owner of an lg optimus l9 with a one-point something or other gig processor 5 megapixel camera better battery life and jelly bean 4.1 at the cost of $0.00

If anyone is having similar issues just go to a corporate Metro store and let them know that your phone keeps shutting off and you're losing all service ever since the Z ve e update

Hell I couldn't believe that Metro actually doing that for their customers that's pretty awesome

I also learned that the main reason the LG was so expensive was due to the fact that it has an HDMI. Oh well I may have used HDMI 2 times in the past two years so I don't miss it very much

So anyway people if anyone needs some advice on the esteem give a holler anytime. I just can't do a whole lot as far as development not having an esteem anymore.

I also had some projects in process that I was unable to complete if anyone is interested in taking on the projects holler at me.

Scratch that, you did say HQ. I called an old friend from the HQ I used to work at and she said they're not doing it

Give it a go.
I backed my sd's to comp,
I ran LG tool update recovery to return to stock.
Then did factory reset from settings menu

Was still having probe

I read in a thread someone said something bout metro having an update that was different from LG support tool update, so I brought my phone in to see if it was true.

I told them ever since ave update, WiFi stalling, data disappearing, phone restarting, getting hot, and losing all service.

Woman stated "we have been seeing this problem a lot, and what we are doing is offering a $150 credit towards the purchase of a new device in store"

I couldn't believe it... but they said they will do the same for my wife's esteem tomorrow.

Lg. Com download the update tool and running it, on the top left you will see aoption bar, click on it and you will see the recovery option, makke sure drivers are up to date, there on the lg page to, holla bk if you need help with

i know thus does not go here but the phone ik using is so slow i can barley post a thread . Is there anyway to revert to stock on the esteem with just the phone itself? I have no internet so I can't use the LG updated tool or anything PC that require internet

Metro just replaced my wife's busted esteem as well. 150 toward new device as well.

Maybe it is possible that they are buying back cdma phones from the locals because they sold off local towers? I think tbag mobile/Metro want to go all gsm.

Could be way off though. Only basing this on Facebook that my phone went from getting dill bars in my house to NO bars

u know dover my bars hav basically have been gray alot,if any green shows its the smallest bar on there (coincidence?) try out the network signalrefresh app n see if it makes a diff for you,dover

Somebody call this store. You will probably get an automated thing just go through and say you're from Treasure Port St Lucie us one store and get connected to a real person

Tell the person that you have esteam that has been updated the software is zve and has been restarting and losing data connection and all connectivity ever since then see what they can do for you.

The girl I talked to had to talk to another girl at the store to find out what to do that other girl said it would be a 100 and $29 rebate then when the manager came over to finally run everything through and put in her code she said no its a hundred fifty dollar rebate so apparently this is a new thing

everything from the street to the phone number matched,wats messed up is the corp store here in tampa doesnt gve out a number to call and speak to someone at the store unlike urs,thats the bad thing you have to drive all the way over there to speak to someone at that store,this is the info for my corp store
