Vzw is messing me around

Literally..

Just kidding, that would be gross and hugely innproprite for a corporation to actually dick someone.

Long story short.

1. emailed vzw, 3 months left of my ne2 and i wanted to get the incredible.
2. was told that i should contact blackberry to fix my phone
3. was told again to contact BB.
4. was approved for an early annual upgrade via email.
5. could not order the incred online. It kept on coming up at full retail.
6. was told that my acct was fixed and I was to order it online.
7. 2 emails sent to vzw later.
8. got a call from vzw saying that they would order it for me.
9. No order confirmation on the phone like they said i would get immediately.
10. 3 days later, no email, no response.
11. just sent another email.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDGE !

On a side note, my black silicone case has finally hit fedex and will be here tomm.

Phone sales "lost" my order that I placed on Monday the 19th. I kept trying to call and track it and no-one knew where it was. Finally someone told me to try and place an order online, if it went through, then I had no pending orders. Needless to say, I placed an online order on Saturday the 23rd. Now I am pissed because everyone that placed online orders on the 19th is getting their phones shipped while I am still sitting and waiting.

The reason I was able to eventually place an online order though, is because Verizon DID fix my problem, which is probably different in your case.

Long story even longer... if your online issues are resolved, try placing an order online and see if it will go through... if it does, I was told be a VZW rep that your phone order will not process because it will see that you already have an online order pending.

This is just what I was told - then again, if I end up with 2 phones, someone is going to hear about it!

You mean the phone order will not process because you have an online order pending? Just trying to clarify. I was able to ship my eris back and get credit on my account, then i preordered on saturday morning and everything seemed to go through just fine. I got my NE2 discount and even another $30 back to my account for no good reason, so i'm happy. I just hope it ships out today or tomorrow. But i won't get made until thursday night if i don't have a shiney new phone in my possession ;)

That is what the nice young lady at VZW told me! She said if in deed their is a pending and active phone order, when who ever goes to process it, they will see that I (we) place an online order and that the phone order is no longer elgible for the discount/upgrade. The order would then be cancelled. This is what I was told. Please, don't hold me responsible if you place another order though and end up with two phones... I am only going with what VZW told me -- then again, they are the same people that told us:
1. The phones were pre-order only
2. NO ONE will get them before the 29th
3. They won't ship until the 28th
4. etc.. etc.. etc..

so take it for what its worth!

So people who ordered 2 days after me have already had their phone shipped. Is it just me or is there something wrong here. I just sent verizon an email asking wtf is going on... guess Ill just have to wait and see
