I have a problem with my Nexus 7 tablet. It will not charge! I tried ALL of my chargers and ALL outlets, I even tried my computer, but still nothing. I looked inside my tablet and there was no build up, however, the micro USB port looked bent. I even took it to Staples but they didn't bother touching the micro USB port. So I tried fixing it myself, I straightened it out a little bit but still nothing. What should I do? Is there any way to fix it? Can the manufacturer fix it? Will I have to replace it? Please help!

I just replaced mine on Monday. It isn't too difficult. You will need a very small philips head screwdriver. I was lucky as I had a donor with a smashed screen. It is actually one assembly for both the usb and headphone jack.

iFixit has a guide for disassembly, but it is out of order for this repair. You simply pop off the back cover, remove the screws for the speaker assembly and move it out of the way. Then remove the screws for the charging / earphone assemble. A slight tug will remove the ribbon cable coming from under the battery, and it will easily slide back into the replacement jack.
