Help Galaxy S3 Update to Jelly Bean 4.3 HELP!

I have an AT&T Galaxy S3 (SGH-i747) and received the alert that Jelly Bean 4.3 was available for download today. I have been having some issues with the phone lately so I figured I would run a Factory Reset before updating. Once I had my phone back up, I checked for the update and now its stating that "Current Software is Up to Date" and to check again in 24 hours. I tried downloading the update through Samsung Kies and the program states that my S3 is not available for updates via Kies.
How do I get my update now?!
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I been thinking of getting the S3 on AT&T and after some google searching I came across this. Might explain your issues.

You better wait, because many people are having troubles with 4.3. That's why samsung pulled the update roll out. They promised to fix it as fast as possible.

I downloaded the 4.3 update on my partners phone the battery drain was awful but I waited a couple of days then decided to do a factory reset which seems to have solved the problem early days though but she tells me it seems a lot better and experiencing no problems maybe this reset deletes all the old system files

To the OP, the update was not available via Kies, you have do download OTA via the Settings>Device>Software Update.

I did the update 2 days ago...download was huge and slow ( 680MB took 2 hours) install was fast and smooth.

I have seen all of the other complaints but luckily have not experienced any of them. Actually battery life seems improved (but we know how things can change day to day with a phone). The only annoyance for me is that when I get a text, email or call the camera light flashes once. I cannot seem to fix it.

On the plus side, ...well there really isn't much that I can see so far. The stock email app has a better UI and an issue that I had with keyboard switching from Swiftkey back to default android has been fixed. I read the Product Update that 4.3 was supposed to bring (as well as 4.2) and I am really having a hard time noticing any benefit whatsoever.

2 hour download...........just had a look on my partners phone cannot see where you turn the flash indication off wonder if it was there before the 4.3 update......on my Note 2 it's in Settings......... Accessibility....Flash Notification

Yes, I have this in my menu and it's unchecked...but it's still flashing - once for text and email and continually for phone calls

Try checking the box to enable it, then unchecking to disable it.

Alrighty then seems to be working after I checked, unchecked and rebooted...happy times!
