There is a firmware update for the Verizon Note 3.
You can perform this update and regain root using the Kingo method.
Download Kies 3 (make sure you scroll down and choose Kies 3)
SAMSUNG KIES
Download Kingo
Download Kingo Android Root, it's free
I believe the best way, if you are currently rooted, is go into SuperSU and do a 'full unroot'.
Launch Kies 3 and plug in your phone, for me, it automatically notified me of the update. This does wipe your phone, so be sure to remove your SD card and back up anything you want. Follow the instructions to update the firmware. (N900VVRUBMJ7) SELinux status is still showing Permissive, which means SafeStrap should still work once it's released.
Some people are reporting that there were 2 firmware updates, I didn't notice if there was or not. But I did go back and verify that there wasn't another one once I was done.
Launch Kingo and plug in your phone, it will download the latest drivers and prompt you to plug in your phone. You must have Debug mode enabled. It is a one-click method and once complete it will ask you to reboot your phone. In your app drawer you should see SuperSU installed once again.
I'm sure I'm forgetting something after working all last night, so I apologize in advance.
