OTA Update!

Has anyone received the ota update from HTC which is to sort issues with certain camera apps?

Yep, got it last week (on Meteor network in Ireland) - update comes direct from HTC themselves.

Now all the camera apps (Layar, Qik, Barcode Scanner etc) working fine

Did they send it direct to your phone via a message or did you have to search for the update? Thanks.

As far as i'm aware only sim free unbranded handsets have been issued the update direct from HTC over the air! If you have a network branded handset you'll be waiting for Vodafone or whoever to test and ok the update!

IT pops up like a system notification rather than a text message

Smashing. Thanks for clearing that one up. I am vodafone (unlocked but have the voda splash screen on start-up, although no case branding)

Hi,

I also got this update, and updated my htc legend (1.31.405.4). But since the update I have some problems with the messages.

It takes a long time to go in the conversation window (+10seconds) and there is a bug with my keyboard. When I turn my phone (landscape), so I have a bigger on-screen keyboard, the text that i am typing is not displayed on the screen. When I turn my phone back, I suddenly see my text.

Is this a known issue?

Is there a way to remove this update from my legend?
