Root [ROM] CyanogenMod 10 for the LG Motion 4G LGMS770 (l0)

Ok,trying this rom out finally,I'll try to see what issues I have and hopefully iron them out myself first, and (hopefully) get everything I've done written in here.
Originally my main reason for even jumping was it looked like all my concerns outside of the backlight issue were already sorted, so maybe assist with at least testing if I couldn't find a source of the problem. After installation and a quick issue with both speaker and in call sound though, I guess I'll take things a bit slower and document every change I do from now on...

tl;dr: I jumped into flashing my sound mods back in before i really tested sound properly so no promise I didn't cause my own sound issue :D I fixed it though, not with the xloud mod because that fouls up the clearaudio+ packaged with it that I love, theres a post a few pages back called extra volume boost AOSP that I used instead.

Anyways, I'll mess around with this a couple of days and geek out over some code to see if i can contribute anything, first impression is same minor issues of backlight, 1x icon, etc. overall nice work PG :thumb:

Bigger issue I noticed, left it plugged in all night and this was 2nd time battery wouldn't show any drain for awhile (30 minutes, and I'm sure NO Rom is that awesome lol), first time was just random yesterday, clearing battery stats fixed it that time, so I'll see if you already have a fix but just documenting this for now

Bluetooth doesn't work on calls. If you could look into, that would be great.

I'll try, but I don't have a Bluetooth headset atm, so I'll have to look at what changed between stock and CM to get an idea. Gonna have to do a clean flash of this anyways, still having in call sound issues which my mods probably helped mess it up , I need to isolate the issue there, and no keypad during calls even when proximity sensor is on, so still a WIP for now, sigh

Hey PG, which is the best version to use, on the 9/3 version atm, is the prior one better, or should I flash this one?

Update: on a better note, assuming the battery status is correct, I used less then 20% in 6 hours, mostly standby but a couple calls and 30 min of music, to me that's excellent! Again, side from minor issues, great job on this man!

For those needing Bluetooth, heres a test for ya, try this build.prop line, its disabled in stock as you see here
Code:
# system property for Bluetooth discoverability time out in seconds
# 0: Always discoverable
#debug.bt.discoverable_time=0

But... if continued disconnecting is the issue, maybe the same thing that helps wifi helps bluetooth (in other words, scan intervals). I have a HUGE feeling this will kill your battery, however, so if you want to try it post results please on both workability and how it effects charge time, etc. I would try but again I have no bluetooth devices right now. Good luck!

** to enable this remove the # in front of #debug.bt.discoverable_time=0
try playing with the number too if it works but burns battery, lower number other than 0 should make it cut drainage faster but time out discovery quicker, etc.

I don't know, I'm getting damn good battery life with just this ROM + Greenify (killing the Maps process, plus my location services are off):

Usually the battery will only go down three percent over night when I'm asleep, so 30 minutes still showing as 100% is feasible.

well couple other issues (probably caused by my over adjusting crap) caused my to go back to factory stock + root only atm. Gonna research a little more and get a proper testing environment here before I continue and mess up my only phone lol
I'll probably be back on this one in like a week though, great rom when you don't mess it up too much :D

yes But have the same problem....I unbrick back to stock rom and reflash again still The same problem

I had this problem on my old motion going back to stock. I tried to format /sys first on recovery then using kdz to go back into stock then went to location settings and only checked GPS and not agps, it could be the other way around I forgot here is another post with other methods http://androidforums.com/showthread.php?t=763162

Edit: also if GPS is lost on stock too it will always not work if you flash a cm10 rom

after trying PG's CM10 and Bobz i decided to just get the CM wallpaper and call it a day.... I respect the time you guys put into it but it makes my phone run really hot even when on standby i might have put up with the hot phone in my pocket if the bluetooth worked and that apollo mod should have came with a airbag and seatbelts cuz it crashes so much. truthfully the stock rom is alot better its working and polished...I now realize if I want jellybean or kitkat its time to get a new phone

you must have done something wrong or something because my phone doesn't get hot. it's actually kinda cold. and apollo always has sucked that's why i use walkman. and bluetooth works for me. maybe it's just certain brand bluetooth devices that work or something but mine works.

im using a plantronics bluetooth that works great with stock rom but only plays music on PG's 0903 build, and i checked the checkbox to use it for phone calls.. also the missed call and messages count dont work ive tried PG's build on 3 diffrent occasions and it always gets hot, took a 2 houir nap and when i went to use my phone the screen was hot. whos build are you using and what fixes did you apply if any? i'd love to be able to get it a working CM rom but this one looks abandoned .
