Hi everyone. I have this weird problem with my Note 3 as all the pictures that I take with it just gone missing. After i take the pictures i can still see it saved but then few minutes later it just disappear.

Even if i use another camera app other than the stock, it is still the same. I have search all my folders so I'm sure that its really nowhere. All other features are working great except for this. Has anyone have the same experience? I tried searching google but can't find as well.

Thanks in advance

Do you perhaps keep your pix on an external microsd? It's possible that Android OS has moved your pix to the LOST directory. Check that folder to see if they are there. It's a bit tricky as Android will have changed the name on files moved to LOST. But you can try renaming files that are about the size of picture files with the appropriate extension.

There are threads around about the LOST directory.

I was curious when one of the responders mentioned My Files. There is so much to learn on this phone. For those of us who have never used android before, how do you find "My Files". I currently see my photos using the gallery but don't know how to get to DCIM or any other file folder.

My Files is an application in the app drawer. Tapping on it opens a file explorer similar to those on some computers.

You might have it in a Samsung folder in the app drawer. If not ES Explorer is the one I use. I got it for free from the Play Store.

thanks for your reply. Here is what I discovered. Under Apps go to Samsung then go to My Folders. Photographs that have not been sorted into folders will be found under DCIM. Photographs that have already been sorted into individual folders will be found under a file called Pictures. For example when I want to post a photo to Facebook I have to sort it first into a named folder in order for the laptop to be able to navigate to it.
