Glad to see that the incredible battery drain isn't my imagination, but rather the defect to which Samsung has admitted (we flunked the spin test). Problem is, the battery has to be sent out to Samsung, examined, and if declared defective, a replacement will be mailed back. Great - so I have no use of the phone for that period of time ... NOT!
Looking for a genuine-replacement-part, which Samsung, Amazon, etc. sell for $40. Lots of bargains on e-bay for <$20, purported genuine -- but my question is
"Would you buy one"? Or pay the $40 to buy from a legitimate dealer?
