Wow! Different from what I'm used too, thank you so much, made me decide to stay with this ROM for awhile. You are a life saver! :D

I found Slimrom to be a great rom... very... slim. *facepalm*

You could do or change anything that I found relevant and it's efficient enough to run quick on slower phones. Not buggy at all and I love the slimdark mode.

Oh! And it integrated dashclock, which is fantastic!

I ended up having to go through all of the menu options to find out what it could do and I suggest anyone who's loaded it to go through EVERYTHING because some of it is tucked in the dark, slim corners of the ROM.

I have Slim-Beam 4.3 build 2 installed, and the dpi thing is driving me nuts.
I don't have a "developers options" in settings; but I do have
Advanced Options->Superuser->(settings button)->Settings->Superuser Access->Apps and ADB set.
I go to run SuperSU#, it informs me the SU Binary needs to be updated, I Continue->Normal and it fails.

Since I don't seem to have root, I can't change the dpi.

Suggestions?

Go to Settings/ About Phone and tap on Build number a couple (7-8) times to enable Dev Options in Settings.

Discovered the 7 taps to enable Dev Options shortly after posting the above.
It didn't change anything.

So, currently:

1. DevOptions->Root Access shows "apps and ADB"
2. I've rebooted into TWRP and have tried (either both or singular) "Advanced->Fix Permissions" and re-installing "TeamEpic-Root-from-Recovery-v5"

If I re-install "teamepic-root-from-recovery", on boot into the phone, I'll see a google message about "updating apps" before getting to my lock screen.

I re-enter Settings and verify "Apps and ADB" is still set, then launch SuperSU and the "Update->Normal" path contiues to result in "Installation Failed!" message.

And I give you SlimKat 4.4.1

Please make a backup, wipe dalvik, cache partition, format, and format system manually. Enable root like on 4.3 builds.

Rom Dev-Host - Slim-d2mtr-4.4.1.beta.1.2-UNOFFICIAL-20131208-0033.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service
Gapps Downloads - Addons4.4

When trying to download the ROM the webpage from DEV-Hosts simply says that something has gone wrong and never gives a link to download from.

NEVERMIND. IT WAS A PROBLEM ON THEIR END AND THEY FIXED IT

I have run into several problems when trying to flash this. When using CWN Touch as my recovery it will flash and the ROM will boot but all of my network settings (IMEI, MEID, phone number etc...) are gone.

When trying to flash using TWRP as the recovery it will not successfully flash. It will get to the part of "set_metadata_recursive" and it fails with the error of "some changes failed". I am going to assume that this is normal sine CM 11 cannot be flashed with TWRP as well without this type of error.

I simply restore the fresh backup of the ROM I was running so none of this is a big deal but it is strange that I cannot flash it using CWM Touch recovery yet it appears that some people have had some success flashing it.

Oh....and yes...I was factory resetting and then manually wiping and formatting as well.

Edit (00:42 12-8-13) - It took a few tries but persistence pays off. I finally got this ROM to flash (using CWM Touch recovery) and maintain my providers settings (Phone Number, IMEI, MEID etc..). I am currently in the process of restoring my apps and such via Titanium Backup but so far everything looks real good with this ROM. It is an early beta so it is very slim even for a slim ROM but so far stability has not been an issue.

I had the same issue with TWRP. I downloaded it again and same issue. Going to try it with CWM in the morning.
