Bare with me please ha.

So, I am taking a stab at asking this question now, because I already believe the answer to be "theres not an app for what you want sf, your crazy"

So I want to get into programming, because im going to college for computer engineering and why not start learning some programming now before I even get into a class for it. So, I have got Visual Studio C++ on my Windows 8 desktop. Yes I should upgrade to 2013, but that why im here...

I love my note tablet. I depend on it every day of my student life! I love Samsung (and Motorola, but they dont make tablets) so I just wanted to know if there is an equilivent android app to Microsoft Visual Studio C++, or any other C++ compilers or programming languages in the play store.

I hope that one day, literally we will not need windows, and all we will need is iOS and Android, (because a little competition is good right)

Crazy? No. Unless I'm having weird dreams, I seem to recall a C compiler for Android. Probably on the Play store. Since I gave up C before the first Bush was president, I didn't bookmark it, but I think there's at least one there.

Good luck on the programming career. It can get interesting at times, both in the literal sense and in the "head-shaped-hole-in-wall" sense. And try to not hurt yourself laughing when some Luddite says "computer error".

I can't find programming software anywhere in the play store. I think we need one. But a app like that must take a lot of people to make.

You'd think. But most of the early BASIC interpreters were written by one person. C itself was pretty much written by one person. So was C++. If anyone remembers Ashton Tate's little "card file" type database, that was written by one person.

A good app takes 2 "kinds" of people to make - someone who's logical and can figure out how to do what the program has to do - the programmer - and someone artistic, who can make the screens look nice - the designer. In a lot of cases, that's one person doing both jobs.

Thats what Larry Page says. More artist have to learn to program, because when they do, we will have some beautiful apps.
