Root [T-Mobile] Help a brother pick a ROM

There's a nice list of ROMs in the All Things Root guide, but I'm not getting the information I need to make a real choice.

I need functionality, long battery life, and nothing unnecessary slowing down system processes.

I do not need pretty lock screens, panoramic wall papers, widgets to make you ooo and ahh, security features better suited to a CIA black ops site, etc. I don't mind if they're part of a good ROM, but they need to be optional.

I have always liked Paranoid Android, great ROM good battery life still, and some good features.

If this was directed towards me than I mean the roms that are pure Google as seen on nexus devices. The s4 was also released as a Google edition phone so you can flash a Google edition rom and have no extra features that cyanogenmod or paranoid Android give. And it is very stable.

If you're looking for a stock type rom with a way to do your own customization I suggest Infamous 8.0. & with 3-minit & xposed you can tailor it to your own taste. There's also 3 kernels to choose from & overclock if you like.
Haven't really paid attention to battery life, but it seems to be very good. & if you like to game some, it's very good for that also

The games I play are simplistic and not graphic intensive.

There is another factor, the Samsung keyboard seems to process much more quickly than the other options (I have Swiftkey and Swype pro versions) I have. Does it still remain an option typically in the various ROMs?

From what I read, you can actually flash the original stock ROM and be able to keep your warranty? That's something I had not known from past roots.

checkout Infamous S4.. with the $2 3minut settings app.. makes customizing everything possible.
Also check out Darthstalker X... and make sure you install the xposed framework and the wanam xposed apk.

Do you know why the thread at XDA forums for Infamous S4 has been locked and the author's account has been disabled?

I'm going with Darthstalker S4, mostly because the author is (in his own words): "As The Developer Of This Rom, I Want My Roms To Be "EXCLUSIVELY" For SGH-M919 Which Means There Will Be No Porting Unless I Port It Myself To Other Phones/Carriers."
