THIS IS A LIST OF ALL WORKING MODS ON MK5
(This list is a work in progress and will be updated as more mods become available)

Please share the following info when posting about the mod:
  • What build your using (MK5 ODEXED or DEODEXED) or ROM that you're currently on
  • Whether you have Kies bootloader or not (not sure if this matters or not, better to be safe than sorry)
  • Recovery you used (Philz, CWM, or TWRP)
  • Link to mod

I wanted to start this thread so that everyone could see a list of working mods on Android 4.3 so that others can see what does and does not work yet. Please share what happens when you flash so that others know! Hopefully this will become a sticky in the future of all working Mods! A BIG Thanks goes to @struckn for helping me find MODs. Don't forget to him a Thanks when you can!

Before we get started I have to say this:
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards or anything else related with this.
I will, always when I can, update the thread with news and updates, just be calm.
You are entirely responsible for what you're doing.
You've been warned :)

Does anybody know if Xposed works with stock rooted MK5?

I've updated OP with Framework apk. You will need to update the apk once you download it (very easy, just download newer version through Xposed). I have only tried a YouTube mod so that there are no ads, I can confirm that its working with no problems.

Be sure to check before you download! There are a few that will work with Stock TW and only a select few, for now, that work with android 4.3, better to be safe than sorry.

What kind of Rom are you using, Odex, Deodex? Knox Bootloader, No Knox? I need testers so that others who have the same thing as you, can see what works!

Update to the info about Wanam. I had never actually run it before, just knew of its existence, so I restored my backup of JD's rom and installed it. Wow! Lots of customization, including the ability to get rid of the green color in the quick settings tiles. I have become so used to the Holo Blue color that I use it whenever I customize color options on any ROM or device. Also, four-way reboot option is possible, along with many others. Didn't play with it too much more than that, just wanted to see some of the features. Also be warned, and this applies in general when using Xposed Framework, if you install two different modules which both have similar options, i.e. XBlast Tools and GravityBox, then you might have very weird issues if they both try to modify the same aspect, as in changing the color of the icons in the status bar. One module may win out over the other, or neither may win. No real harm can be done, but it can get very confusing trying to figure out which module performed which function if you need to change anything. It is recognized and recommended by the module developers that you pick just one and go with it when this is the case.

Have you been able to get rid of the green? I have tried and it hasn't worked for me. Maybe because of the toggles mod?

Using Wanam? Yes, I was able to do that and change it to Holo Blue. There is an on/off toggle for each Wanam setting at the top of the screen when you go into each setting option I originally didn't see it and wondered why the changes weren't applying for me upon reboot.

Thanks for pointing out those toggles at the top. I missed them also. I got everything else working but the battery icon color is still green. Were you guys able to change that?

You mean the circle battery? The option is here:

If the color isn't matched perfectly or for future reference the color of all the icons in the notifications bar(wifi, data, etc.) are: #c4c4c4
Hope this helped! :)

I have rarely had any luck, on any ROM, TW or AOSP, with any module changing the battery color, I think it is more "hard-wired" into the system than the other icons, toggles, etc.; this is just a guess on my part though. Personally, I disable the battery icon from the status bar altogether as I use Battery Widget Reborn (Pro) in order to display my battery status on my home screen, leaving just my WiFi and Signal Strength icons sitting unobtrusively at the top of my screen. I don't like having redundant info displayed on my home screen, so this arrangement works out really well for me.

P.S. Check out the heat wave forecast for my area, last week it was all teens, single digits, and negative numbers in the five day forecast. Still wore shorts to work every day though!

Cool thanks I removed the icon and just have the percentage showing now.

Just noticed the brightness check box is still green. It says in wanam that it may not work with some firmwares so I guess I'll have to live with that. or turn off auto brightness ;p

I use the app: Lux Lite
It's better because you can make the screen darker and you have way more options than just a check box ;). Try it out!

I'm thinking of trying out Xposed along with Wanam. No one has had any issues with that? :)

Worked beautifully for me last night, once I figured out the "on/off" toggle issue. XBlast Tools also works fine on 4.3 TW, but I wouldn't recommend installing both at the same time, too much overlap in their functionality makes one or the other redundant. Realistically, Wanam is going to be way better in a 4.3 TW scenario, much more customization available specific to anything you want to change in the TW configurations.

Excessive use of IMG and URL in quote, haha (all you need is the IMG BB, no need for URL tags) very nice screen by the way ;). No icons though?
