Everything working beautifully as far as I can tell, haven't tested MMS, GPS or Wi-fi yet, but flashed over firmware B and booted fine. Data works, radio works, camera works, only thing I had to do is re-root, but just ran the root program as normal from my PC and was back in business.

Thanks a lot GameTheory, if I could I would donate to you but I don't have a paypal... This is a seriously selfless project and it's very much appreciated! Thanks!!

Excellent work. Everything flashed and booted just fine. Updating apps, wifi, everything so far is working, except Superuser. I tried to use NoBloat to remove some apps and it said I dont have root access. o_O

Edit: MMS does not work on wifi for me, and it took a try or two after switching to data to get it to send, but it worked.

I don't remember rooting via the computer, was there another way to root from the phone or can someone tell me how to do it via PC? Its been a 'coons age since I rooted this damned thing, lol

Thanks Guys ;)

I think a found the why superuser wasn't working. I'll upload the rom again with superuser fixed. I'll post back once it's uploaded sometime today.

I didn't do any changes to mms so that should work as normal. Make sure not to use Hangouts for mms since google is trying to fix that app for sending mms.

If anyone else has flashed this rom, let me know if all is working for you... Thanks.

Yeah, other than SU, everything seems to work ok. I will compile a list of apps I get rid of as soon as I get the updated rom. Thanks again for all your hard work, this is a big step forward :)

I'm running into a little snag. I have to re-root using "spirited_away_rctnerfer" in order to reboot into recovery, but when I execute the run.bat file, it "starts daemon successfully" and then sits there forever. I have the drivers installed, but I did notice that the option to enable USB Debugging is grayed out and wont let me turn it on. Any ideas?

I did the same thing until I remembered you have to go into developer options and enable USB debugging, the default setting is to have debugging turned off ;)

Is your phone unplugged from USB when your try to enable it? It will always be greyed out if the phone is plugged into the PC when you try to enable it.

No, turns out I needed to select "Internet Connection->Modem" to let it install the last of the drivers. As for the option to turn on debugging, i always have it plugged in and then go and select it, it just wouldnt let me without installing the last of the drivers. Now I have another issue. I have root but when I use the app to reboot into recovery, it just reboots normally. First time I did it, my phone reset and now I have to start over. Oh well, at least I have root

To use the recovery app you must first click on "Recovery apply!" then you'll get a popup that says "OK". After that you can click on "REBOOT!" to get into recovery.

Note:
The rom comes with a themed version of the recovery app that can be accessed from the settings menu. I changed the recovery app's icon to dark bg with red skull in case you don't recognise it.

I'm testing this ROM and also keeping a log of notes in Keep of things I notice about the ROM for future development. This is what I have so far:

1. Font size errors in Settings. (Screenshot included)

2. Remove large VZW Wi-Fi box in the Notif Shade, and put a Wi-Fi icon in the toggles bar. (Screenshot included.)

3. Remove System Update (MobileUpdateClient.apk)

I also had a force restart of my device when I started up Clash of Clans, but it only happened once. Not sure if this is worth reporting.

I know you don't have a device to work with, but I would be more than willing to test for you since I use this phone.
