msgs failure?

Got my first Samsung Ace 2 this October but kept freezing and draining battery horrible. Soon Had the store sent me a replacement, brand new. Battery life problem fixed as I pop in an 5000mah battery out of mpj, but lost all apps I installed, and what's worse is text messages. All it says are"failed"!! Any one tell what causing msg failures and how to fix it please?

The ones you had installed in the first phone? Of course. They sent you a new phone. Go back to the Play store, go to Apps, then My Apps, and download them all again. The buttons will say "Installed" but that's just to notify you - they'll still install. (You may want to be on wifi for this, and be watching a few good TV shows.)

and what's worse is text messages. All it says are"failed"!!

The ones you try to send now, or all the ones you sent before? If that, same as above. Just clear all messages.

(You really should have backed up all your apps and messages before sending the first phone out.)

Can you try another SIM card? Does it only fail with the aftermarket battery(though I also have one of mpj but it works great on my phone)?
