Root [Device tree] Work in progress... Warp3 Dev edition lol

Cool thread bro!!!

Even bogged down with a ton of apps ,buzz launcher, and media, this phone is still standing tall. I would suggest to all Warp devs to invest in this one *beer*

Though I have noticed gapps.process errors freq.
$tock everything
and I'm seeing force closes on a lot of apps.

BTW good job to Junkie and others for CWM...

whats a start? lol. i am not seeing any device tree just talk of warped having one. i have a device tree that when i can get it to build... does get past andy but there is no boot animation or adb... havent gotten any further than that. and the awe people are working on it as well. rbhero and cooldudezach. it will be transferrable between the awe, source, and warp 4g so all 3 devices development is intertwined

ur good just confused myself, trying to figure out who all is actually working on the project and make sure that people dont go there and wait around for updates if nobody is working on the project over there. if you guys wanna contribute to the device tree i would greatly appreciate the help but i just wanna make sure we dont end up with competing repos or something. one of us have one half the other have the other half and nobody ever gets to the finish

Truth be told, That thread I made will become reality, locked or unlocked. Every phone can be hacked
If it takes the better half of a year so be it
Some may not know but there are many ways to skin a cat.
I have studied for 6 month and lurking threads
Many threads . New users understand for every custom rom
there is a separate way to config. It. The pacman rom by far I believe is the worse. I have yet to figure it out.
If you can get CM then you can get J-beer and Chaos. Not much of a difference. Idk about paranoid & the bean series. I mean I read a tut about paranoid its different codes but workable
I'm a firm believer in teamwork tho. You will have trouble hacking a phone by yourself. Nothing to push you to that level where you want to be the first person to put out a new creation
As of lately I have been studying the Devs githubs. Junkie and PG and some other people. I see so many techniques that these devs use. Github is a gift for a newcomer like myself.
The thing I do not know is after boot how do you read the gibberish on a log cat. I see pastebin and it is complicated

the thread will be unlocked if the rom is made but even i was sitting here like a fool waiting for progress only to find out you were sitting there waiting for me, and i never promised id be able to make a working cm so you cant say for sure itll ever be released. unless youre actually working on something and have a releaseable copy almost ready, dont make a thread for a rom that nobody has even begun work on

Not really waiting for you, see it through my eyes. I get a phone then I tune in to AF . I see Developer Junkie, rbheromax, cool(can't remember his name) not the point, I see all these Devs working on it. Then I saw how motivated you guys are. That's the ingredients for success. Its the phones that have no fan base that are doomed to be $tock for life. O and Warp ask me to tell earlymon that he apologizes .

Ive been given my first 4G task. Prop. Blobs. I'm going search for similar phones today.

I find that the script to pull them is usually the same

right, but you posted before actually even doing anything, hence the issue. and proprietary blobs are the generic files pulled from the phone by the proprietary-files.txt, take similar phones and combine the lists then run extract-files.sh and itll tell you which ones ot didnt find so you can delete them from said list. may i recommend one zte 8960 device and one 8930 device, preferably sony brand or lg, samsung probably wont help much they use alot of proprietary crap and htc does too. the trick is figuring out what other files to pull and what files not to

Is it safe for me to assume that the extract files.sh script is universal?

Also it could be said that as soon as I bought the phone I started the Dev process.
