Hangouts will not auto scroll

Hey guys is anyone else experiencing this problem it's driving me crazy, I'm sure it's something minor. My problem is whenever I receive a text message Hangouts will not auto scroll to the most recent message received, does anyone have a resolution for this?

For me that sometimes happens, but is pretty rare. Hopefully a future fix will take care of it.

Man am I really the only one experiencing this problem, turn the phone off and on doesn't do anything. Uninstalling Hangouts update and the keyboard did nothing. Uggghhhh

I'd clear hangouts cache.

If that doesn't work, backup your important SMS messages and wipe hangouts data

I like Hangouts but I don't like the SMS integration at all.

If you were to ever consider a separate texting app I'd recommend 8sms.
