Help Boot loop

Hi all,

I have a samsung S3 which I upgraded to 4.3 about a couple of weeks ago, all was fine until yesterday. My phone woukd just turn itself off and get stuck on the white samsung boot screen and keep looping until it sorted itself out or I pulled the battery out. I haved added any new apps since ive upgraded either.

I had a look on the forums and one suggestion was to go into the safe mode and clear the cache partition which I did and I initially though my issue was fix but NO! Argh!!! (I couldnt find the thread again).

Anyone got any other ideas? I only want to reset/restore as a last resort.

Exvuse my grammer uaing phone....you try flashing stock image on your phone via odin
You get a copy from sammobile or xda, i had to flash stock lasr night on phone worked, also if u get stuck in boot loop after flashing like i did a factoey reset will resolve it

I have no idea how to do thaf. Id need a dumb blonde guide lol.

What version of s3 is it Flee? (what country are you in and what carrier)
The guide posted above is the first thing a repair will try (reflashing) so if youre confident you could do it yourself and save some time
EDIT youre a fellow Scot :-D so your phone model is GT-I9300 and since its from carphone warehouse itl be unbranded/unlocked so you wana flash UK 4.3 unbranded firmware for the GT-I9300

100% correct! I stopped getting phoned from carriers as I hated the fact thaey were locked and had branded start up software! So you think I should put 4.3 back on it?

funky even if he does what i suggested flashing stock via odin will kill phone?

Ive tried a few links and they keep saying the URL is broken or invalid the user may have removed the file. Think im going to give up for tonight - have stuck my sim in an old Nokia N73 (yuck) and will pop into carphone warehouse on way home from work, and hopefully i also hear back from samsung too.

Thanks for all your help guys
