Simulate swipe up/down/double tap

I want to simulate the swipe up/down/double tap features of Nova.
I want to use them with another launcher that aparrently dont have them.

So, i need to use a 'run shell' script and 'input tap/swipe' command.

But i have no idea how to simulate a generic swipe.

I could use all help i can get!!

So are you hoping to automate the tap/swipe (that is, use Tasker to simulate those touch events), or hoping to detect those gestures and use Tasker to then perform some action?

If the first, that should be fairly easy to do with the "run shell > input tap/swipe" stuff that you've already read about. For the second, that's outside the realm of Tasker on its own, but should be possible with something like GMD Gesture Control.

Ι want to swipe up on my home screen, tasker to detect and perform action.

Yes input tap/swipe will do it, but i didnt find nowhere how to execute that.

Tasker (alone, at least) won't be able to detect the swipe gesture you're looking for. You'll need to use some other app (like GMD that I mentioned earlier or LMT) to provide a transparent overlay on top of your screen and detect/handle the swipe gestures. LMT can register the gesture and then directly execute a Tasker task by name (GMD probably can to, but I haven't played too much with that app).
