Hello,
I dropped my phone last week, which severely cracked the glass and screen, killing it. After ordering a replacement and installing it, my capacitive buttons are not fully lighting up and will not respond at all to touch. It's my understanding that this problem is caused by cables behind the screen which I now cannot reach or attempt to fix.
The seller of the replacement screen wants it returned before a replacement is provided but it is adhered to my case. Unfortunately, I only tested it up the Samsung boot screen before fully installing it.
All guides I've found for removing the screen, including the one I followed to replace it in the first lace, have been destructive. Is there a good way to loosen up the adhesive that will not crack it? Won't the heat gun ruin the AMOLED anyway?
