Root omnirom new ROM

Don't know if I can link to it from here, but Google it. So far its snaper than cm11, at least for me.... Also its a nightly and I find it more stable than cm11 nightlys.

well i was trying to install cm installer with computer and nexus and twice ive got hung up where it states to check everything, then i do it and it leaves my nexus with the blue man stuck on screen, and cant hold volume button, power to get to recovery screen,or any of it,,i was lucky once and wugs got me out of it but this time no adb,or fastboot could be found, but this morning i finally got it,but back to this rom u mention,i used cm because barnacle would allow tethering with my fone n tablet,no other apps would work,do you know if barnacle will work, and a quick question, does the kernel have anything todo with tethering? right now i had to start alover and im on 4.4.2 android version rooted,i was wondering if i flashed a diff kernel would itmaks diff in tethering,as of now stock rooted i cant? sorry so long of a post

I think you have to put the superSU zip into that folder (cant remember its name) where you put any mods that you want to use so that they get flashed with each update.
Think i read an easier way though.. something about telling supersu to protect itself or something(?)

If you guys are currently running this ROM, have you tried updating via the delta system?

The reason you have to flash SU each time is because system gets wiped when you flash a ROM. If you update using their delta system for OTA updates it won't wipe system. It will only download and flash the pieces of the ROM that have changed (which greatly decreases download size as well)

Simply go into your "about phone" settings and check for a system update

Yeah that's how I update it, unlike cm11 though it formats the /system partition...
