1- When on my home screen I pull down to get to my "Wi-Fi" "GPS" "Sound" "Screen Rotation" "Bluetooth" Unfortunately the new update removed "Mobile Data" from that list. Is there a way to get it put back on?

2- When I go into messaging and on the top left corner click on a the button to compose a new message at the top it says "enter recipient" I type in a name and nothing pops up. I think it's another something the new upgrade broke. Any way to fix that back?

3- When texting if I look back at old text every message has the time on it was sent. However to find the date I need to scroll all the way up to the top of the conversation. Any way to add the date so that every text has the date and time it was sent?

4- Is there a way to send/receive picture/video/mass text by using wireless instead of mobile data?

Seems like just more 4.3 update bugs. If the first fix didn't fix those two, wait for the next fix. Or the one after that. Or ...

Since texting itself goes via 2G telephone connection, not unless you go to an SMS gateway site. (You have to $ub$cribe to those.)

1- Download the app xShortcut FREE. Once installed, select "System Settings" and then "Mobile Network Settings" from the scrolling list.

2- Those names are populated from your address book (i.e., Contacts app), not embedded within the Messaging app. Check to make sure all your entries are there. You may need to adjust visibility or sync:
Contacts > press "Menu" button > Contacts to display
or
System settings > Accounts (check option and sync for each individual account, and verify it is as expected)
3- I no longer use the stock messaging app, but I believe it's normal for the time and date stamp to only appear on past messages, not current day.

4- I must be misunderstanding your question. Isn't that what wifi is for

Not much help, but my thoughts:

1- No easy way - mobile data quick toggle is gone in 4.3 / MK2 for everyone. Maybe a program like 1TAP quick bar will give you similar functionality.

2- I've heard other people with this complaint after the update, but for me if I begin typing letters in the "to" box, the matching contacts show up below. So I think there's hope that it's just a setting somewhere that needs to be changed. Where that might be... I have no idea.

3- Mine has date markers just before the first message in any given day of a conversation. So yes, would have to scroll up to the previous date marker in some situations.

4- Seems like messages with pictures or with more than one address are MMS and require data. I wish there was a way to change that but I don't know of any.

Hmmm....I have the most recent update on my Verizon GS4 & I still have the mobile data toggle.
OP doesn't mention what carrier he's with, but maybe it's an AT&T thing?
