Help Help about Jellybean 4.3 Update

Hi everyone.

I am the owner of a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500, with a 4.2.2 Android Operation System running on it.

I've been expecting the 4.3 update to come for 4 months now, nothing.

It keep on saying "Your operation system is up to date"

I tried Knox but it didn't work as well, it doesn't recognize my phone.

Further Information about my device:

Model Number: GT-I9500
Android Version: 4.2.2
Baseband Version: I9500XXUBMG6
Kernel Version: 3.4.5-1083225, se.infra@SEP-89 #1, Thur Jul 11, 22:52:49 KST 2013
Built Number: JDQ39.I9500XXUBMG6
SELinux Status: Permissive.

I tried also to contact directly with the samsung support, but my device is bought in Kosovo, Prishtina, and i have no idea where my device is made for, as long as there is no dedicated support to our country.

Please help me out, this is so annoying.

Thanks alot, Valmir.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums valmirkastrati! :)

There are a number of reasons that your handset has not updated to Android 4.3 as shown in #1.4 of 18 Galaxy S4 models - know yours?.

Your only options are to either take it to a Samsung Service Point or download and flash, via Odin, the stock Samsung firmware as shown in #1.5 of the previous link.

Thanks for the infos. But the main problem is that, here in my country, there is no Samsung Service Point. There is even no option for my country in Samsung.com, i tried to contact the closest country but nothing happened.

So if you had my device, what would it be that you'd do ? What do you recommend?

As per my last post that you have quoted...
