Official keyboard - USB Passthrough?

 The original Note 10.1 uses a proprietary 30-pin connector (unlike the Note 10.1 2014 edition).

To answer the question... Yes, USB OTG 30-pin adapter works based on XDA users. Flash drive and USB mouse. The MHL adapter will also work with the 30-pin port.

Thanks! :)

Trying to decide whether to go with this or a Bluetooth keyboard I found WITH a touchpad built-in.

USB is 5 pin.

Should have specified I have the old 30-pin version, sorry.

I have just bought this one, it paired immediately with my galaxy note 10.1 and although it says that the touch pad does not work on tablets, it works great. Be aware though that it is a small keyboard not a full sized one (6 inches x 2.5 inches)

Mini Bluetooth Wireless Handheld Keyboard with Touchpad Mouse and Laser Pointer for Mac / New iPad / Google Android TV / PC / iPhone / Android 3.0 Tablet: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

Good to know it works on android, I've been thinking about getting one of those to use for a PLEX box (streaming video over network, for those not familiar with it) Though for my note I'm actually looking at this:

Bluetooth Keyboard Touchpad Leather Case for Samsung Galaxy NOTE10 1 N8000 N8010 | eBay

Not sure about quality or battery-life or anything, but it looks like exactly what I want (turns the tablet into a ultra-light-laptop - no need for awkward tapping when using the KB) only thing it lacks is easily-accessable-USBs (REALLY wish a company would make some docks like the old Asus Transformer dock... that was the best *design* I've seen, though the tablet itself was pretty bad...)
