chinese/ebay, aluminum keyboard/half case (protects screen) was $21, and the OTG dongle was a buck or 2...
stuff works flawlessly, and the keyboard even has some hot keys that dovetail nicely with kit kat...

another question since we are kinda on the subject of bluetooth. Is it possible to use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard at the same time for the nexus 7 tablets.

Yeah they work great together. You just connect the 2 bt devices and start using. For me more of a novelty than anything else really, but it is pretty neat to use your tablet like a computer imo

It looks like a nifty little unit, but since it is so small you can't touch type on it so I don't see the advantage. I use the Swype keyboard and find it works very well. I frequently use the speech to text function and can dictate faster than I can type. It is not perfect, but is close enough.

Right, it can be a pain to type a long email on. The advantage is the built-in trackpad mouse that works perfectly with Android's native support.

I can see that. After seeing the stylus (AM Pen) that my son got for his N7 I bought them for myself and my wife. They work really well and, like using the trackpad, help keep the screen clean.
