The price must have gone up because it show $129.95 on HSN's website however it does has $50 mail-in rebate offer! Which makes it only $79.95! Great price for this phone. If I didn't get S3, I would have gotten this for sure. Hope someone else can enjoy this deal!

That's one thing I'm trying to find out but there's no mention of support for 4G/LTE. It does say no LTE on Verizon's Moto G. It would be a waste for Boost to offer a new device without the LTE support.

To my knowledge, this means no LTE. I don't get it either. I know LTE is not everywhere yet and many people use Wi-Fi often, but obviously that is where we are headed. Why skimp in this area? I expect more from Motorola/Google.

I will not get any new phone without LTE. I went from OG Warp to new 4G model about a month ago and it's a big difference in data speed.

Absolutely! Who would want go back to 3G when there are plethora of LTE devices coming out. What a shame...Moto G is a great mid range price device.

Actually I am just fine with 3g speeds. I don't download all that much and everything else is fast enough for me.
LTE is great but not having it isn't a deal breaker for me not to mention there are a lot of Boost customers who live in areas where LTE isn't available yet.

Yep. Podcasts download much faster. Video plays without hiccups. Can't go back.

Why not include the LTE radio so the phone appeals to wider range of people and they sell more phones.

There is no LTE because Google intended the Moto G to be the most cost efficient phone while being a phone that is more up to date than current phones.

What other phone has a Snap Dragon 400, 720p screen, 1GB of RAM for less than $200? none of them, and this one is $130.

This phone beats every other phone on Boost in almost every way besides it's camera and antenna type.

If you want an LTE phone, cough up the extra $20 for a Boost Force. You're gonna lack a decent CPU and upgrade to 4.3 let alone 4.2, but you'll get LTE and an okay phone for around the same price.


To sum it all up, like I first said, this phone was made to be cost efficient. Which is why it lacks a good camera and LTE.

Because it's another cost to take off the list. If LTE is important to you, then you can spend a little extra and get a phone with LTE.

To confirm the Moto G DOES NOT have LTE. Just activated my first one, and it did not have LTE capability.

The phone is still amazingly fast though.

It doesn't have LTE because it is a cheap phone plain and simple. If you want LTE pay more money for a phone that has it. Saying Boost should only release LTE phones now is just silly. They cost more and not everyone can afford the more expensive phones. I think it's great Boost is releasing better phones now, even if some are 3G only.

Honestly, in my opinion its best getting an LTE phone, especially on boost cuz their 3G is a joke. Of course if you care about what's under the hood then this phone is for you.

There are a couple of scenarios where I can see its not worth the wait, if your area will not have LTE for 18 or more months its pointless to buy a lte phone, because in that time frame you will likely upgrade again.

Using the phone for a bit today, I really liked it. The lack of LTE is kind of a let down for someone like myself, and being someone who has to sell this. However it's finally a great phone for Boost that is a true decent phone. The SIII is a downgrade from the flagship launch version, the F7 is the bastard child of the Optimus Pro, and the HTC One SV lacks the upgrades it needs like HTC Sense 5 and 4.2.

The Moto G is what they needed.
