Anyone Try to Hookup the DINC to their PC/MAC

Curious how to hook up the Incredible to a PC/MAC to move over some new wallpaper and sounds.

Is HTC Sync needed?

You don't necessarily need sync to this. You can connect it with the micro USB and select "disk drive" to access internal memory.

i tried that twice (once on the Mac an once on the PC) and nothing has popped up on the Incredible's screen.

Check the last paragraph on the pop up dialog.

Connecting your phone to a computer

Whenever you connect your phone to a computer using the USB cable, the Connect to PC dialog box displays and prompts you to choose the type of USB connection. Select one of the following choices, and then tap Done:

Charge only
Select this mode if you only want to charge the phone

ok so my computer tells me to insert the disk that came with it. obviously there is no disk, so how do i install the drivers? keeps failing...

Download HTC Sync the one just released for HTC Legend
