Nexus 5 KitKat Data Usage Bug?

I was looking at my Data Usage (I am on the T-Mobile Prepaid 70/Month plan).

My phone is reporting 10.11GB of data usage.
T-Mobile is saying I have only used 5.6GB of data usage.

I have been watching Netflix for my commute to work and home. The data usage on netflix is only reporting Foreground 22.38MB and 315KB background.

Can someone explain to me how this can be?

Not likely, but possible. You're popping in and out of open wifi signals.

I am on a stretch of Highway and I have wi-fi turned off. I also have it so it doesn't scan when it is off to look for open wi-fi.

So what apps does your N5 report as using the most data?

Also, 22mb sounds low maybe the error in usage report is from Netflix.

Where are you checking? settings > data usage?

If so, check the dates you are comparing, they most likely are different ranges.
You can adjust the range in the graph by dragging the white sliders on the bottom.

I was thinking the same thing that it is a netflix app issue and it's not reporting the data it is using correctly.
