Improved Search Function

Is there any way to have the search function work similar to the GOOGLE Advanced Search? I did not find any way to force an AND for 2 or more key words. For example, entering 'Galaxy F' results in a search for only Galaxy with a comment that F is too short. The default is a quick search that returns the threads that contain any of the search terms. If you then click on the word SEARCH you get a slightly more advanced search capability in that you can select which type of response you want. If you don't request a list of posts you end up perusing threads with more than 1,000 posts in many cases. I would suggest using a drop down menu for choosing a quick (current) search or an Advanced Search where you could choose the relationship between keywords (select AND or OR, and use quotes to enable a string search). Also allow selecting whether to return a list of threads or a list of posts.

Thanks, staff, for reading this.

To combine Palmtree & Xyro's suggestions, using site:androidforums.com "Galaxy F" at google worked quite well.

I wouldn't normaly use this site, but in this case it makes a great example.
Search Example

Thanks to Unforgiven, Palmtree, and Xyro for the Google idea!! I didn't know you could use site: in Google. Thanks everyone else for their responses.

I had tried Galaxy F, 'Galaxy F', and "Galaxy F" using Firefox and found that the search always treated the string as an or condition returning any post with Galaxy and ignoring the F as a short word. Other attempts with key words such as Samsung Galaxy always returned posts with either Samsung or Galaxy in them. I was suggesting AND for the condition where words might not be together and quotes for strings. I am sorry if my initial wording was not clear.

I will use Google from now on.
Thanks again!
I am a very happy camper :D:D:D
