Root Rooting a MAxx/Ultra

I have not found a way to root a droid Maxx /Ultra

Seem to be a bounty on it [4.4 ROOT] [BOUNTY] New Root Method Exploit or Full Bootloader Unlock Droid Maxx - Page 6 - xda-developers

Anyone here have a good plan that works?

Anyone here have a good plan that works?

If you have updated to KitKat, there is not a root method. If your phone is still on 4.2.2, you can root it and apparently keep root after the update to KitKat if you follow the instructions you'll find in the xda-developer's forum for Ultra original development.
