What is my sis-n-laws best choice? She wants to retire her LG Motion because she trys to update and gets not enough room message and I won't root her phone for safety. Would it be best to stay with metro or go to T-mo. Her plan is $60 unlimited w/insurance@ $65 mo. And what's the best deal for a phone in the same price range. Things are changing fast and I don't know all that is available and if the new plans are as good as they seem.

I forgot to say we're in the SF Bay Area.

if shes open to the idea of other os' i would suggest taking a look at the lumia 521, its a fairly snappy device and will do all and more of your basic smartphone needs.

It was an ordeal going from gingerbread to ICS. But I think she can handle Jellybean as long as play store doesn't change. I was looking at Tmo's prices they're higher and and fee charges where MPCS is still flat rate for now. We are between the F3 & F6 now because they're on sale for $49-$99.

F6 is now $79 with recent promtions :) This is a very good deal.

Be aware the F3 and F6 have very limited space for apps, and apps cannot be installed on SD cards on stock. That's the main reason I had to get rid of them. I dont play any games, and still had space issues which frequently resulted in texts and emails stopping due to low space.
