Root [Verizon] Rooted WifiTethering?!?!

As I'm sure you all know, prior to 4.3, we could use tethering with foxfi without an issue. Now that we're on 4.3, it no longer works. I decided to root, with the saferoot method, got everything set up, and can't use any wifi tether apps still? half of them check the status of the wifi subscription via verizon, and the others say device not rooted. Yet I have SU permissions and the like..

Does anyone know how to use tethering on 4.3 without the hotspot fee?

Thanks!

There's a wifi fix that needs to be done with rooted devices too. Did you install that too?

It may not apply to the saferoort method you used though, just making a suggestion.

I haven't done this, only the saferoot method to root it. Is there a step by step process for using this file? In the event that I don't want to be rooted anymore, is there anyway to unroot easily? The last time I rooted a device was my HTC incredible several years ago, so it's been a while. Haha

Edit: I've found out how to unroot. I was able to get wifi tethering to work via getting the full version of foxfi.
