Root Android 4.4 rumor

Could of told you that when it was first launched with boost lol. The F7 is the flagship device for the Optimus F lineup of phones, LG wouldnt leave us on 4.1;) and if they did they got some balls. The international one will probably get 4.4 first them us a few months later, and yeah we just dont know when but im gonna throw a guess out and say second quarter of this year. Since we will be making a big jump from 4.1.2 to 4.4, Theres a good chance gps might get fixed along the way. With such a big jump, LG is gonna have to update our GPS, wifi, bluetooth, radio drivers etc to work with the new update so who knows maybe it will automatically be fixed along with the update.

boost will follow through with the desicion, even if they dont which i highly doubt they would deny us from getting that update, if US cellular release the update for their F7 then i can build kitkat from source for our F7

what about it? yeah the US cellular, boost, and international F7 are on the list!

I'm not used to boost handing out updates like this. But I would be surprised if Google skipped updating this phone. This and the galaxy s3 are boosts flagship phones.

Quick correction for you, not google* boost mobile/LG. Google has already done what they were suppose to do. Its now based on your manufacturer and carrier whether you get the update.

Boost mobile now has 3 nominated flagship phones, the moto G was just added to their line up for $129 It has a Quad core processor, 1 gig of ram, 5mp camera with a 1.3mp front facing camera. 4.5 inch screen corning gorilla glass 3. running android 4.3 plus "You'll also score a guaranteed upgrade to Android™ 4.4, KitKat

Not necessarily...I just bought the Moto g for my girl and she got 4.4 right away...granted boost was talking a quarter 2 schedule for the Moto g, it is still quarter one...be positive we will get it soon enough...it is boost best interest to update the f7 s soon as possible since is one of their best selling phones.

Lol well we're definitely not getting it before LG Flagship device gets it Lol. Which is at the end of march, after that I'm sure LG will put all their engineers to work on other devices awaiting KitKat. My ETA for us getting KitKat is summer as well. I imagine they would take 2-3 months to get KitKat into boost hands and from there its about a month of testing. I should know when it gets into boost hands if my access location supports it. Anyway once boost gives to big OK to LG they upload the source and 2 weeks later the OTA rolls out.
Reason why the Moto G got the OTA so quick is because Motorola is trying to change their image and are quite frankly beating every other manufacturer with bringing their devices up to the latest android version. Pretty sure they beat every other manufacturer based on the amount of devices they have updated to KitKat already. Every other manufacturer is different. LG isn't known for updating their devices to the latest software version which is why I was surprised by the amount of devices they will be updating, "allegedly" for now.
