I finally got the position at work I've been trying for!

I'm so happy. I work at Walmart so it doesn't pay great but it keeps a roof over my head, food on the table, and allows me to have my Moto G

I have a nerve problem in my back due to a childhood accident, tendonitis in both my shoulders as well as arthritis and I'm only 35 lol. I've been trying to move from my current position which requires heavy lifting most of the day and it's really hard on me. In fact I recently had to take a 3 week leave of absence absence my back got so bad. Walmart just added a liquor store and I didn't think I was going to get the job because it's hard to transfer to another department if you're full time. However, my recent back injury finally made them realize I need a different job so I signed the papers yesterday and will start in a few weeks! The store has an outside entrance (Florida law for any grocery store that sells liquor) and it will be stocked by vendors. I'll be stocking back-stock when they aren't there, ringing up customers, and keeping the store looking nice. The only manager I really trust told me it would be cake compared to my current job as far as physical labor.

This has made my week! Especially since my wife left me a few weeks ago, I really needed some good news!

P.S. The ironic thing is I don't drink and in fact I've never even been drunk lol. It's just never appealed to me. (although in light of recent events I have thought about it lol)

Drinking and being drunk are overrated. OK, just the being drunk part!
Once you get situated in your new position be sure to send me a bottle of Maker's and a bottle of Glenlivet (12 is fine), I do enjoy a nip every now and again

as for drinking.. there is a point that is just .. feels good.
to be a little .. relaxed... feeling fine.
right before.. stupid drunk and throwing up.
trick is to know where that line is.. and slow the drinking.
and of course.. not to do this often.. and in safe conditions

I know this is an old post, but one of the disadvantages of the new job is that I've gained 20 lbs lol. It's that much less physical work. I guess I need to start doing some cardio lol.

LOL yeah although people say it doesn't look like that much. The problem is I LOVE food lol. My old job forced me to exercise and burn calories and I maintained a consistent weight. Now I have to choose between eating less or exercising. I chose to exercise because last week I rearranged my bedroom and I felt like I'd lifted weights for the next three days lol. I need to keep in shape!

Thanks for the advice but my love life is the last thing on my mind. It's a long story but I have one last shot which has a slim chance of happening and it may take years of patience. If it doesn't work out I'm officially done with relationships lol.
