Audio popping in music playback?!

Did you do a factory reset after you flashed jellybean? Seems like you are having little nagging problems that usually are due to an update. Yes, I know it is a pain in the ass but it will often clear up weirdness that you are having.

I didn't. I may have to. I can back up my apps with Titanium Backup. I hope that'll fix it....Are you running the JB Rom?

Don't really use Pandora. MP3 playback would pop, but streaming podcasts, and video play back would not. The poweramp app stopped the popping from my MP3s.

Mine is more of a constant "tick" or "clicking" sound every 1 second when the song levels are just right or there is a lull in the song itself. I noticed a lot if I played the last 20 seconds of Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On. Where at the end its just music while Celine vocalizes.

I downloaded JB when it came out and don't have this clicking. I use poweramp since it supports music that I have burned from media player, but doesn't do it while streaming either....thinking it is the phone..you wouldn't want to ruin a good Celine song, hahaha.

I really wonder. Honestly I used that song only because of its ending, I was trying to think of a test track and it came to mind. Lol, its not in my regular rotation although I do like her music, but anyway... But to add further confusion. Power Amp player when used the clicking is gone same when I tested the same track in a ringtone editor. Rhapsody and Pandora its back....I'm at a loss. Almost makes me think Pandora and Rhapsody are the cause. Sad too because I'm using the hacked adfree / unlimited skips 5.0 version of Pandora. Rhapsody is the latest. However its insanely noticeable in that app.....guess what it has its own EQ. I notice it in the latest version of Slacker too. Something must be going on in the phone itself to have the skips in a factory environment.

This is a well documented issue in the galaxy world. Google searching led me to the power amp app. Seems jb fixes solved the issue in other devices but I don't see that coming our way. Hope you find a suitable fix.

Yeah Power Amp fixed the clicking for local files for me too. Still very noticeable in Rhapsody, Slacker and Pandora.
