Help Whats the best/most stable custom ROM?

I agree. CROMI is one sweet ROM. The support for the ROM is top notch too.

I'm running one of the older CyanogenMod nightlies on the older bootloader that just happens to run perfectly on my tablet. It took a bit of tweaking on my part but I've got it set up just right.

As far as what you are looking for, RobGee89 has given you the best option IMO.

By the way, good to see you over here Rob!!! It's been awhile. Hope all is well your way mate. Things are going alright here. Gotta run.... take care buddy. :)

What's up RobGee? Great to see you over here bro! I hope all has been going well with you my friend!! :D

As for my TF300T, I'm still running the old bootloader with CM11. Everything is working perfect and I just can't bring myself to switch ROMs. lol I've got it set up just the way I want it and that's good enough for me. If I do upgrade, there's a 99% chance CROMI will be my go 2 ROM.

As for CROMI, I most definitely recommend it for newcomers and older members as well. When it comes to help with questions, the group of members in that ROM thread are 2nd to none.

I'll throw another vote behind cromix in there as well. I was on it for awhile, then convert to cm with 4.4 (daily build) and another 4.4 rom (can't remember the name) off xda developers. Long story short, I am sticking with Cromix for now. All the 4.4 roms either have lag or can't do something correctly. For example, on CM, some video files is unplayable. Revert back to Cromix and it works. The launcher also look a bit weird in 4.4. Actually I love 4.1 asus launcher. Wifi is unstable. Basically, stick with Cromix. It combines the the best of all Asus/_that and other firmware/kernal/rom.

Have you tried JoeVLC player? I haven't found a movie yet that it wouldn't play. I have to use it sometimes with CM11. JoeVLC has all the codecs you'll need to play the movies.

If the stock player won't play it just use JoeVLC's search feature to look the movie up and play it. Sometimes the tablet will even give you a choice if's that the app you want to use to play the movie. It's a great app and I run it on all 4 of my devices. :D;)

I still recommend CROMI too. It's a damn good ROM and the support in the ROM thread is top notch.

Nope, have been using MX player. Thanks for the suggestion on JoeVLC though. I probably won't goto CM until there is a stable version.
