Root [International] Problem rooting Galaxy S3, no SU binary installed?

Go and download the latest SuperSu flashable zip from Chainfire from here SuperSU Download then flash a custom recovery (Philz, CWM or TWRP) through Odin; before rebooting into the OS you must go into recovery again pressing Power + Vol Up (I think) and flash the SuperSu you downloaded. That should do it.

I don't understand what to do, I simply followed step by step instructions on a website to root my phone and it didn't work :(

Is it possible for you to give me some step by step instructions on what to do please?

Follow the directions above was given, just download the latest supersu and flash it from the custom recovery of your choice and you should be good to go.

Yes, download the zip to the phone and flash from there. There is no limitation as to where it should be stored; you can browse to its location from within recovery. It will flash from internal memory. By SDCard, it means the internal memory. It is the new convention, and the actual removable sdcard is now called external sdcard or extsdcard. So you don't need a micro sdcard, even though it is a good idea to have one. :)

I am having the same issues with the su binaries. I'm trying to re-root my tmo GN2 after I reverted back to stock for sometime now. I followed your instructions to a "T" and I am showing no clockwork mod recovery or any recovery for that matter installed on my phone. I flashed with Odin, the tar file, waited for a pass, unplugged and tried to reboot into recovery with no success, Can someone please help? I am also running Android Jellybean 4.3 and read that there's problems rooting because of Samsung Knox security, but I haven't gotten that error just yet.
