Root [Boost Mobile] Speaker phone issue

I am using the moar v8.0 rom.
I have this problem of when I use speakerphone when in a call, the other end hears echo and distortion. When I turn off speakerphone they say it goes away. I had the same problem on my prevail and now on this phone too. I use a bluetooth and all is ok, but I don't carry the bluetooth everywhere. I tried every setting I can think of, does anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?

One other issue is how to change the low battery so it will upload Dropbox and be able to use the camera, not even using a big battery.

Yep I remember that issue on my prevail I haven't experienced it though.
I think it may be an issue with the call quality too because someone can call me I pick up and they say I sound like I'm in a tunnel and it's an echo it remains like this until after about 7 seconds or so

Ah hah! Learn something new everyday. The noise canceling being turned on is a new one I haven't heard of to solve that problem. I haven't had any issues but it's still good to know. Might have to suggest it to someone else one day. Thanks and good info Mydian. :thumbup:

Right now the case I am using is a waterproof case. Waiting on the zerolemon red one to get here. Will try all that, will also look where the top mic is. It is inside the case for sure, no way to uncover it till new case gets here. Thx

I tested the phone without the case and it works great. Hopefully the new case won't cover that up or I'll have to do some modifications. Thank you for the info and worked great.

I have the red Zerolemon case and just checked, It has the hole for the microphone. Seeing as its not waterproof, it should work just fine. I actually haven't even put the case on yet because I just got the battery from the post office about 20 minutes ago. (thanks Struckn)

That is good to know. I can't wait either. Just wonder about when battery gets down to like 15% will Dropbox still upload, and the camera or flash on camera work? Now at below 15% Dropbox stops and camera flash won't work. Is there a way to change that? I have a zerolemon 2400 battery now and can just get the stock rear cover on, and it lasts about 2 days with heavy use. It takes a long time to go from 15% to 1%. I got the case and big battery on the way and wonder/worry about when battery gets low and things won't work even though the big battery has plenty of time left on it.

Bro, that's a darn good question. Holy moly......... I hadn't even thought about that. That has got to be a safeguard that is built in to conserve the battery. If it is still an issue, I hope a Dev can write a script we can flash that will disable it or something like that. I wonder if Xposed framework has a module that can be downloaded to disable it or if Wanam or Xblast can do it? When my phone has got the initial 12 hour charge on it I'll boot it up and search through the Xposed options.

In the wanam I saw that you can make the camera work and I did that but the flash wont work, and like I said dropbox says to plug in to charge to finish upload of pics, and I can run for like 6 more hours till have to plug in. Would be nice to disable those and the battery turns red at 15%, need it to turn at 5%.

I'm sure someone will be able to do something about it. I'm going to check around and see what's up. Maybe I can find someone who can help figure something out. Possibly a zip fix. Now wouldn't that be nice? LOL. We'll see what happens.

Oh, I'm finally on my S3...... Zerolemon 7000 mAh battery and rugged case included. It will take a bit to get used to since it's bigger and heavier but I Love it!

I did have a case but I took it off, I always have noise canceling on and it still happens funny thing is this never happened on asop roms

Heres one try turning the speaker phone down its called feedback. The microphone hears u microphone hears speaker n caller I think this happens when both caller n listener are both on speaker phone.
