So to speak, if I were to sell my little guy, I would include car & wall charger, sedio extended life battery, my 8gb sd card, with all of the roms stored, all of the radio updates, zips, and all my paid & free apps backed up on the sd. With a homemade pdf explaining it all with links to all of the android messageboards. How Much could I sell that for??

No more than a non-rooted used eris.

99.98% of perspective buyers could care less about Root, ROM's, Bells, Whistles.

The .02% who do care and are into rooting would just try and buy the cheapest used Eris they can find to Root the phone themselves. Why would they buy yours? You already took all the fun out of rooting :)

Just like the fact no one likes buying cars that are modded, because you know the owner has been beating the crap out of it.
That's exactly the scenario I thought of... In fact, we've been looking for a used car, and Civics or Accords were at the top of our list. On craigslist, mod'd Civics were always showing up ... and then re-listed 3-4 days later ... and 3-4 days later again. The average person doesn't care that it's been "slammed", has an add-on gauge cluster, K&N intake, etc, etc. The best part is, the person wants thousands more than book value because of the add-ons. Needless to say, they'll only be able to sell it to one of their buddies.

Well then what would the average selling price be for a non-rooted Eris?

No one has really helped the OP with a price range, which is what I assume was the purpose of this thread...

I just sold my eris on ebay for $215. It was in great shape and came with extra screen protectors, a hard case, the 8gb mem card, a Motorola H12 bluetooth headset, and a car charger.

I just bought the above on ebay a 1.5 months ago for $300. I put the leaked 2.1 on it but was sick of how laggy it was. Now debating on stick with my BB Tour or trying out the Incredible...
