Hi,
Are the Aroma ROMs going to get any further updates? By the way i have tried the new aosp ROM and i found it to be way to much GOOGLE for me, even though it's a very nice work.

I also tried the aosp ROM and I found to be amazing but , for my style I like the Aroma , that's the great thing about NeatRom, now we get to have more choices + the guys on NeatRom thread are the best:)

Hello! I've flashed the latest Neat ROM AOSP 2.5 with google apps 2.x.

My problem is, suddenly, my battery drains and it tells me to plug the phone. Battery indicator may show 50% or more and then it turns off. When I try to turn it back again it says Almost no battery, plug the phone (not exactly those words but same meaning).

I will appreciate any advice as well as suggestions on this topic.

Sale: Thanks for your ROMs!

Do you guys use xposed framework? Correct me if I'm wrong but i believe it works for the s2(can't test as Mrs uses it and only like stock Sammy so is on neat rom) but if it does then gravity box works well with it to change toggles etc :)

Yes xposed works on dalvik only. And gravity too

Have you tried another battery? Problem could be the battery itself

Hello!

I still have the problem of battery draining fast with the latest NeatRom AOSP 2.5. It happens with two different batteries so I realized batteries are not the problem. The problem I have is as follows (will show through an example):

Sometimes when I start an application (for instance facebook. It can be any other), the phone stops working and then I have to restart it (yesterday the display showed 77% battery left at this time). After restarting my S2, battery shows empty and I need to plug the phone (shows the low battery message). Otherwise it turns off.

This is why I would like to reinstall AOSP 2.5 as well as Google Apps from scratch.

So, how can I do a real Full Wipe before installing? I can't find options easy when using this Kit Kat CWM.

CWM for Kit Kat as a Wipe but I think is not as full as we did before formatting data, system, cache, cleaning Dalvik, etc.

Thanks in advance my friends for your help!

I hope I'm posting this in the right place!

After upgrading to JB 4.1.2 and rooting with the Siyah v6.0beta5 Kernal (with lot's of help from Ironass btw) I was pointed at NeatROM (again by Ironass; thanks man!) and I've been loving it. Well done Sale and thank you.

The one thing I miss though, now that I'm running NeatROM v5.6, is STweaks.

It seems from reading through this thread that I could flash the Siyah kernal back on again without causing any problems; is that the case? Or is there an alternative, still supported, kernal that will allow me to run STweaks?

Would the same apply when I upgrade to NeatROM v5.7?

And one more...

Does dual boot apply to kernals or ROMs? For example could I install both the Siyah and the PHILZ kernals and boot into whichever one I wanted? I like Siyah because of STweaks but I like the functionality of PHILZ.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

One, "comment", I have received about the v4.4.2 NEAT ROM is that the font size, even on Huge, is almost illegible, particularly when it comes to reading stuff on the drop down notification panel. Is there any quick, simple way of changing this or can it be changed for future releases, please. Pretty, please. With a cherry on top!

UPDATE Thanks to avery helpful reply from marjune23, here, I was able to change the overall text size to a more legible size.
