I just rooted my optimus f3 and I really have no idea how to do anything else. I want to install a kitkat theme but I have no clue how. I think I need to get clockword mod or something but I dont know how. That is all I know so can someone please link a video or tell me how I can install a theme on my freshly rooted optimus f3? thanks!

Unless it is a launcher theme, then it would most likely require a custom rom, like cyanogen mod. These custom roms contain the Theme Chooser engine that will allow you to apply themes on the fly.

Now there is a mod called xposed framework, along with the xtheme engine module, that will allow you to theme your phone in a similar way that the theme chooser works. To use this method, you must be rooted and the theme would need to be ported over to work with the xtheme module. I have ported over several cyanogen mod themes to xtheme, so I could port over a theme for you once you get your phone set up.

If you are unfamiliar with the xposed framework and the xtheme engine, take a look at these threads:

xposed framework
xtheme engine

If you need to root your phone, follow this thread:

ok, theme is gonna take a while. this theme is missing a lot of the core images that the F3 needs, due to LG being stupid and changed up a lot of the naming scheme. here's a list of a bunch of xtheme themes, including kitkat (at bottom of page) that you can try out till i get this one sorted out.

you can also check out my recent theme port called cobalt here:
