Root [MetroPCS] F6 incapable of Fastboot?

In my quest to understand SDK/ADB and get the bootloader unlocked, it appears that the F6 is unable to utilize Fastboot within Android Platform Tools. I've successfully installed the humongous SDK program on my Linux box, but there isn't any love for Fastboot when I try running the command.

If I had more time and had a photographic memory, I would read everything in sight to try and help with this mess. If there is a solution, hopefully someone with superior intelligence (and more time) will help us get the problem resolved.

We have a locked bootloader. end of story. theres no need to unlock it because we have loki though. it easily bypasses the bootloaders security. it you want to read more look up bliss. hes a real smart guy. not sure why you are on the quest to unlock the bootloader, and also not sure why you are trying to do it with fastboot. our phone doesnt support fastboot, nor does the bootloader need to be unlocked. we have working recovery, and i have a kernel in the works. and cm is also coming along at some point. no need for bootloader stuff

No quest, just curious really. I would understand a high-end phone to be difficult to crack, but not this one. I've seen more than a couple of posts on various forums about the distaste some people have regarding LG and their practices, and I get it. Oh well...

a lot of people dont like some things lg does on their non feature phones. I dont like how they did storage particularly.

Are you going to release the kernel before the possible Kit Kat update or you're going to wait? Thanks in advance I appreciate your work.

i have my kernel ready. but i dont know how stable it is, and i dont want to load it up on my phone because i cant afford to buy another one. it "should" work, but i used the fx3 kernel source the first time and it killed my screen. this compile is on the f6 source, so it should work but im a little baby

What are some of it's features? Overclock? Built in init.d?

I tried out the LG Motion kernel like a dumbo and it also killed my screen, but the phone still turned on and i was still able to use the unbrick guide to fix it, is this what you meant by your screen getting killed? if yes, feel free to let me try out the kernel ;)
