Just a heads up. My root guide no longer requires windows. Also there are a bunch more ROMs now available on XDA!

If you're talking to me, no I haven't gotten it yet. Still waiting on all my info so I can finish my taxes. Grrr the slowness of it all.

I think that the recoveries (CWM and TWRP) are mostly ironed out but not 100% sure. It seems as a lot of people are using them though.

Has the recoveries been fixed. I've read about problems.

I think I will be happy with it. Everything I've read about it, the owners are very happy and satisfied with it.

Try this: [LOGO] Remove 'Unlocked Warning' message - xda-developers

From what I was reading, you just flash it in recovery.

Yeah I found something like this and flashed .bin file through fastboot
Worked like a charm.

Verizon pre-paid? No, sorry. That boot loader is locked down tight. Now, the Boost Mobile one can be unlocked. If yours is Boost, head over to the CDMA all things root Moto G sub forum and they can help you with it. I think though, that the boot loader unlock is the same method as the GSM version. I also think the root method works the same.

Yes I got the boost Mobile one.. Thanks for your help I was gonna get the Verizon one but I need an unlocked boot loader hopefully it's pretty easy to unlock

i did not know i got the verizon one because boost sprint att tmobile nothing work were i live just verizon work i think even do is not rooted im ok pretty fast no lags like motorola razr or any other motorola phone

Hey my motorola atrix hd was great which was basically a razr hd

I read today that clockworkmod recovery is now available officially through ROM Manager. I even went to the site and saw it there, listed under Motorola G. If any of you are using ROM Manager, can you go into it and check for me? I still don't have the G, so can't check.

No you can use the free version. At the top is where you flash the recovery.

Edit: you do need to be rooted to use RM.

Check ur Google account under promotions that's where it was for me got mine same second I hit that button

Oh buddy I am always rooted [citation need] but its there just has to show all devices to see it . Also works. makes it easy tho.

But I prefer fastboot flash recovery recovery.img since I am getting used to adb and. Fastboot

Thanks for checking on that. I am planning on using the command line to flash mine as well. It's just nice to know that things are becoming official.
